As steering stabilizers are used in all sorts of conditions & terrain, it is imperative that they have an easy to use, effective adjuster system. The Ralle-Moto RM1 uses our own unique rotary disc valve to control the flow of hydraulic fluid within the damper unit. Ralle-Moto Products are only able to successfully use this valve design because we are able to repeat the precision of the stabilizers internal components. The RM1 is fitted with our 8 position primary dampening adjuster. The adjuster provides the rider with 8 levels of dampening force, they range from position 1 where the damper is still functioning although with a very light dampening effect, through to position 8 where the dampening effect is very noticeable at the handlebars.Unlike needle valves, which require the rider to count the clicks to be able to find a particular setting, the Ralle-Moto system enables the rider to go exactly to the desired setting without having to count click.
.How the RM1 MDC return to center adjuster works.
This 3-way mode switch controls a separate return to centre porting system. The Ralle-Moto system is unique in that it enables the rider to select 3 completely different dampening profiles at the flick of a switch.
"M" position = Zero return to center dampening
This setting is best used in tight technical riding where very quick counter steering and change of direction is important.
"D" position = Low return to center dampening
This setting is best used for sand and loose terrain where you still want some dampening on return to center but still need to be able to counter steer or change direction quickly.
"C" position = Full return to center dampening
This setting is suited for high speed riding on open tracks or in rocky ground where you want the bike to have maximum stability at all times.
